Birla Mandir : Birla Mandir is a Hindu
temple It was located in Jaipur, India and is part of one of the several Birla
mandirs located all around the country. The grand temple is located on an
elevated ground at the base of Moti Dungari hills. The Birla Temple is also known as Lakshmi Narayan Temple.
Birla Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi, is a tourist
attraction of Jaipur. It Bulit pure white marble, the Birla Temple is unlike the
traditional ancient Hindu temples. The enormous temple was built during the
year 1988, by Birla Group of Industries. The images of Lakshmi and Narayan
attract the attention, being made out from one piece of marble.The Birla temple was built on the land given to
the Birla family by the Maharaja (B.M Birla Foundation). The best visiting time
to this temple is between the months of
October to March. Janmashtami', the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna, is
celebrated. Rregular visiting hours are between, 8.00 AM to 12.00PM and 4.00 PM to 8.00 PM every day.
